RESEARCH INTERESTS
Prior to my affiliation with Bear Lab, my work centered on the mathematical analysis of synaptic plasticity learning rules. My current interests include the dynamical and timescale relationship between synaptic plasticity and homeostatic plasticity in the contexts of monocular deprivation (MD) and stimulus-selective response potentiation (SRP). I am an associate professor of mathematics at Manhattan College and a 2021-22 MLK visiting associate professor in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT.
